Safety: Lhoist Asia “Goes for Zero” with its Golden Rules and training

Go for Zero
The group’s motto is “Go for Zero”. Health and safety are our no. 1 priority, ensuring everyone returns home safe and healthy at the end of every working day. Our aim is to continually improve our safety record and build an environment of zero harm for the safety, health and wellbeing of everyone.
We recently launched our Golden Rules initiative on all our Asia sites. It consists of a set of 10 simple behaviors that contribute to achieving Lhoist’s “Go For Zero” vision, in which we strive for no harm to anyone working at or with Lhoist.
A continuous effort
While these rules do not replace health and safety requirements, they are complementary principles to be applied by all Lhoist employees and contractors of Lhoist in Asia. To ensure and fast-forward their implementation, we also rolled out compliance training and distributed the “Golden Rules handbooks” to all employees and contractors.
