In 2023, we upgraded our "Managing with Purpose" program. A total of 24 managers from various departments of the Group embarked on a journey of learning through theoretical lessons, group interactions, and project work based on their regional LEOS (Lhoist Experience Opinion Survey) results.
Afterwards, they participated in a six-month coaching program that followed the Lhoist Leadership Model and Competency Framework. This program aims to prepare new managers with the essential skills needed to become effective and self-assured leaders who manage according to the "One Lhoist" approach, which prioritizes providing the best employee experience.
" One of our Global Learning & Development ambitions within Lhoist is to create learning journeys for key roles that blend formal and informal learning across a significant period of time. The Managing with Purpose program is a prime example of this in action. "
